Tonight I painted my last piece for my first solo show – The Space Between. What does a patient feel, think, experience in those moments when I say, “Breathe in, hold your breath, now breathe out.” ? This last work is something like “When will the pain go away”? How many want that to happen? I hope I have done some justice to feelings, that I have explored some experiences of people. I have explored my own.
