The intensity of drawing with pencil is worth the planning and this as a photo-realistic piece was not unlike the making of radiographs!
The world is full of symbols and metaphors where colours and ecosytems provide fodder for reflection and wonder. My interest here is the straight tall tree and the crooked tree. And in the commodification of which one serves consumption. And which one serves as metaphor or wry smile for those of us outsiders wondering about success [straight and tall] and poetic twists and inexplicalbe silence in the light of the frenetic panic of a world gone ape on success and conformity. [This was impossible to photograph on my iphone 13 pro so it was scanned professionally. ]
